Darker Roast is our boldest expression, created for those who prefer depth, richness, and the unmistakable character of a darker cup. We believe better coffee should not require you to leave behind the flavors you already enjoy. It should give you a better version of them.

Roasted into a Vienna profile, this coffee intentionally brings some roast character into the cup while maintaining the sweetness and structure of the coffee underneath. Dark chocolate leads, followed by notes of cola and molasses, with deeper roasted tones and a full, lingering finish. It is bold, rich, and unapologetically dark.

The coffee behind Darker Roast may change with the seasons, but the experience remains familiar. We select coffees specifically for their ability to carry deeper development while maintaining enough sweetness and character to create a balanced dark roast.

At Bellus, preference belongs to the person drinking the coffee. Darker does not mean lesser, just as brighter does not mean better. Darker Roast exists for people who know what they enjoy and for anyone interested in discovering what thoughtfully roasted dark coffee can be.

For those who want a genuinely dark coffee with richness, body, and noticeable roast character. This is the furthest we take our roasting while still preserving the sweetness and character we believe great coffee should have. Excellent with cream and sugar, yet satisfying black.
