The Good Life is our rotating single origin offering, a seasonal selection of coffees we personally love and want to share. Each release highlights a different origin, chosen for its balance, sweetness, and everyday drinkability.

Rather than chasing extremes, this series celebrates coffees that feel complete, familiar, and quietly refined. Every origin is roasted with intention to showcase its natural character while remaining versatile across brew methods.

No two rotations are the same, but each one represents what we believe coffee should be: enjoyable, comforting, and steadily elevating.

Current Rotation

Guatemala Washed Cubulco, Baja Verapaz

This current release comes from Cubulco, a small town in the heart of Guatemala’s Baja Verapaz region. Set among the highlands, where small farms and traditional agricultural practices shape the landscape, this coffee reflects the classic character that has made Guatemala one of the most beloved origins in specialty coffee.

For this rotation, we are roasting with a slightly more developed approach to draw out warmth, sweetness, and depth. The cup leads with brown sugar and chocolate, giving it a familiar, comforting sweetness, while toasted almond brings structure and a refined, nutty finish.

The result is a coffee that feels instantly recognizable, but more polished than the typical daily driver. It has the steady sweetness and balance people love in a classic Guatemala, with enough clarity and refinement to make each cup feel intentional.

As drip, it is smooth, rounded, and easy to return to day after day. As espresso, it brings a chocolate-forward body, gentle brown sugar sweetness, and a clean almond finish that keeps the cup balanced and composed.

About the Coffee

Cubulco is located in the department of Baja Verapaz, Guatemala, where altitudes range from 1600 to 1800 meters above sea level. The region is home to many small-sized farms, and a large percentage of the population is indigenous, with many residents of Achi Mayan descent.

Most farmers in the area use traditional agricultural practices and operate their own wet mills, contributing to coffees that are clean, structured, and deeply rooted in place. This washed Guatemala showcases the kind of balance we love in a daily cup: chocolatey sweetness, nutty depth, and a steady, comforting finish.
